Is an Enzyme Peel right for you?
What is an Enzyme peel?
This relaxing and gentle antioxidant peel uses natural acids and nutrients to soften the skin, eliminate impurities, and remove dead skin cells. It is appropriate for the face, neck, chest, and hands.
After cleansing the area to be treated, the enzyme peel is applied. You will feel a pleasant warmth as the skin cells are loosened by the peel. A beneficial blend of vitamins containing antioxidants are gently massaged into the area and Jentri Quinn's advanced (SPF 30) UVA/UVB sunblock is applied. Protective lip balm is applied to the lips to complete the procedure.
How does it work?
The enzymes contain gentle, natural exfoliants extracted from organic sources like pineapples, papayas, and pumpkin that are ideal for cleansing the pores. Each time the peel is received (in a series), the products are able to penetrate deeper, yielding more generous results. By accelerating the cell renewal process, stimulating collagen synthesis, improving elastin fibers in the dermis, and deep cleansing the pores, this light peel revitalizes sensitive, stressed, and fatigued skin for a nice year-round glow.
What are the benefits?
This peel is best for sensitive, dry, rough, sun damaged skin and has no downtime. It improves skin tone and texture and the process can be repeated throughout the year.
How many treatments do you need?
This varies depending on the amount of skin damage you are attempting to correct. A single treatment provides improvements you can see and feel. A series of 4 - 6 weekly peels will achieve significant skin improvement. Maintenance treatments to keep your skin looking its best should occur at four to six week intervals. This treatment can be booked as a "stand alone" treatment or be added on to most facials for a discounted rate. For more aggressive results, you should consult with Jentri about other treatment options.
