Daily C for Small Animals
OK guys, if you've read a lot of my posts you know that I'm constantly looking for ways to improve all my doggies' skin, too. Yes, all three. As of late, I've discovered that just as vitamin C is used to boost our immune systems, (I recommend acneic patients upping their intake, especially) it probably does the same for animals.
So I did a little research online and found this little Vit C formula for small animals. My little girl, Arcona, had a blister-like pimple on her upper lip for about two weeks, which is now half way gone, since taking the vitamin C. I'm not sure if it would've gone away on its own, but I believe the vitamin helped. Animals get diseases, just like humans, so it's good to make sure they're getting the nutrients they need as well, to ward off those boogers.
With all the different dog foods out there I choose, although mostly organic/holistic, I can never be sure they're getting the exact nutrients they need. So supplements sit well with me.
Here's what I bought. It's affordable, easy to administer, and I have nothing to lose! ;)
